BAC is on the search for a finance professional with a strong background in capital works, project accounting, and financial reporting to support the many interesting property developments happening across our airport precinct!
As Senior Capital Accountant, (called Senior Financial Accountant internally), you will be responsible for playing a lead role in the delivery of financial services to our Infrastructure & Planning team. Key deliverables associated with this role include delivering the financial accounting and capital investment processes, end-to-end fixed asset management, timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting as well as managing key stakeholder relationships.
This role reports to our Financial Account Manager and is a full-time permanent role based at our Sky Gate head office.
About you
- Exposure to capital asset budgets and programs, asset and project ledger administration.
- Technical understanding of financial and asset accounting processes.
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Experience and demonstrated ability in providing day to day leadership to other staff.
- Strong excel and word skills.
- Ability to analyse problems and formulate recommendations regarding their solution.
- Ability to identify and elevate issues to senior management as appropriate so that management is kept sufficiently aware of material matters.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
